Compu.net DNSBLs are no more... and haven't been for some time!

Bill Larson of compu.net writes:

Over 2 years ago I shut down blackhole.compu.net and announced the shutdown on the news.admin.net-abuse.email and several other mail and abuse related lists. As of today I am still logging several hundred requests per minute to it two years later. In one week I am going to start answering positive on every lookup to that domain. I don't want to do this however I am not going to continue to bear the load for something that ceased to exist over two years ago. So basically check your mail servers and if you are using the blackhole.compu.net dnsbl remove it asap! Thanks.
We're responsive folks at Spam Links, and have proudly displayed Bill's list as dead and buried for some time at http://spamlinks.net/filter-dnsbl-dead.htm.

If you are still using any DNSBL at compu.net:

'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This list is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace!...'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-DNSBL!!

A suitably geeky reminder to those of you who use external DNSBLs to bloody well check when they expire, m'kay?
